The 76 × 183 cm size corresponds to a longer tabletop, suitable for many family meals. The 76 × 244 cm size is aimed at large tables or elongated tabletops. Since the edge is elasticated, it is better to choose a dimension close to the table rather than planning for a 20 or 30 cm drape as with a traditional tablecloth.

Before ordering, also measure the thickness of the edge and check that no crossbars or hinges interfere with the attachment under the tabletop. A loose tablecloth can lift, knock over glasses, or bother guests. An elasticated edge limits this movement by holding the material more securely around the tabletop. A 160 cm tablecloth on a 120 cm table thus creates a drop of about 20 cm.

How to choose the size of your Round oilcloth tablecloth?

If you are looking for a drop of about 20 cm, add 40 cm to the table diameter. A 100 cm tabletop then corresponds to a tablecloth of about 140 cm, a 120 cm tabletop to a 160 cm tablecloth, and a 160 cm table to a 200 cm format. For a 15 cm drop, add 30 cm to the diameter instead.

The numerous sizes also make it possible to adapt the tablecloth to the space around the chairs. On a small terrace, a short drop can be more practical. For a reception, a more generous drop provides more presence, provided it does not get in the way of legs.

Several styles for the same round shape

The catalog includes several style variants. immediately adds warmth to the table. Five dimensions are available: 100 × 140, 140 × 140, 140 × 180, 140 × 200, and 140 × 220 cm. The advertised composition is 100% polyester, with a finish presented as waterproof to make it easier to manage liquids and small spills.

This model is particularly suitable for a family table, a covered terrace, or a dining room where you want to maintain a textile look while limiting maintenance constraints. The yellow creates a convivial atmosphere and works just as well with light wood as it does with a white, black, or metal table.

Shape
Rectangular

Sizes
100×140 to 140×220 cm

Advertised material
100% polyester

The right size depends on the drop, not just the number of seats

Measure your tabletop, then apply the following formula: (tablecloth dimension − table dimension) ÷ 2. The 140 × 140 cm is interesting on a square table or a small rectangular tabletop if you accept a more generous drop at the ends. The 140 × 180, 140 × 200, and 140 × 220 cm dimensions are better suited for family tables and meals with more guests.

On a 100 × 160 cm table, the 140 × 200 cm version provides about 20 cm of drop all around. On a 100 × 180 cm table, the 140 × 220 cm produces a comparable drop. If the table has extensions, measure it closed and open before ordering to determine if a single size is sufficient.

Why choose a yellow waterproof tablecloth?

Yellow easily warms up a room and gives a sunnier impression, which is particularly pleasant in spring and summer. To keep the table balanced, pair it with white, ecru, or glass tableware. Light wood creates a natural look, while black or grey accessories add a more contemporary touch.

Breakfast

Add white tableware, some fresh fruit, and clear glasses. This remains particularly useful with children, during meals on the terrace, or on a table used several times a day.

However, a waterproof finish is not an invitation to let liquids dry. Quickly remove drinks, sauces, and fats with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive sponges, solvents, and harsh cleaners that can alter the surface treatment or the colors. For a full wash, follow the symbols on the label rather than applying a general temperature.

After washing, let the tablecloth dry completely before folding it. Polyester generally dries faster than heavy textile, but it is better not to store the tablecloth while still damp. To limit deep creases, fold it broadly and avoid stacking heavy objects on top of it.

A rectangular tablecloth also useful outdoors

This Rectangular waterproof tablecloth can be used on a sheltered terrace or balcony.
