A 180 cm table with a 20 cm drop on each side, for example, requires about 220 cm. On a wooden tabletop, this effect highlights the grain and adds texture without masking the material. To keep the look uncluttered, avoid placing too many objects on the openwork area.

For a meal, keep decorations low: small vases, candles, or light branches.
