On a 80 × 130 cm tabletop, the 120 × 170 cm format produces a comparable proportion. This calculation provides a simple guide before accounting for the table's curvature.

A highly rounded oval table and a rectangle with softened corners do not produce exactly the same drape. If you are hesitating between two sizes, simulate them with a familiar sheet. Specifically, check the length at the ends, where chairs and legs may come into contact with more fabric.

Why choose an oilcloth for an oval table?

The water-resistant surface allows for quick management of small spills. It is particularly advantageous when the table is used several times a day, with children, or for activities where small accidents are frequent.
