The gold shade is part of a broader palette that also includes ivory, mauve, pink, baby pink, powder pink, peach, and rose beige. This generous width covers a significant portion of the tabletop and is especially suitable for tables that are sufficiently deep, for sideboards, and for long event displays.

Before choosing, check the width of your table. On a 90 cm deep tabletop, 74 cm will occupy almost the entire central area; on a wider table, the textile will leave more surface visible on each side. Place your plates face to face to check that the width remains compatible with your table setting style.

A format much wider than a classic runner

At 74 cm, the textile is closer to a large decorative strip. It can become the main visual foundation of the table. This works particularly well during a reception, but requires leaving enough usable space around it. On a sideboard, this width also helps to visually connect dishes and display stands.

2 meters

For a family table, a compact sideboard, or a setting with little overhang.

3.05 meters

For an intermediate-sized table, a large overhang, or reception decoration.

4.26 meters

For long banquet tables, sideboards, and surfaces requiring a lot of material.

How to choose the right length?

The 2 m length is suitable for a family table or a compact layout. The 3.05 m length allows for an overhang on an intermediate-sized table and also works well on a sideboard. The 4.26 m length is suited to long banquet tables and receptions. To calculate the overhang, subtract the table length from the runner length, then divide by two.

For example, on a 250 cm tabletop, a 305 cm runner provides about 27 cm of overhang at each end. The 426 cm version would create a much larger overhang: choose this format when that amount of material is specifically desired.

Gold, ivory, pink, or mauve: how to build the palette?

Gold works well with an ivory, white, black, burgundy, or deep green base. Since it already attracts light, there is no need to multiply shiny elements. Simple tableware, a few candles, and matte accessories may suffice. On a wooden table, the contrast between the material and the gold color gives a warmer result.

The other shades allow you to keep the same large format with a different atmosphere. Ivory is more discreet, mauve and pinks create a softer table, peach warms up the whole look, and rose beige remains easy to pair. For a reception with several tables, you can keep the same color throughout or alternate between two similar shades.

Dining table or sideboard?

A width of 74 cm can be interesting on a sideboard, as it creates a visible base under dishes and display stands. However, leave areas of the textile clear so the color retains its decorative role. On a dining table, prefer low centerpieces so as not to add too much volume in the middle.

The gold table runner can be placed directly on the surface or layered over a tablecloth. On a black tablecloth, the contrast is more striking; on ivory or beige, the effect is softer. A white tablecloth creates a luminous base. If the main textile is already very prominent, choose subtle placemats.

Naturally completing the decoration

To compare other festive runners, the Table Runner collection includes several colors and materials.
