This variety makes it possible to maintain the same dimension logic while adapting the atmosphere to the room or the occasion. The lengths offered range from 120 to 305 cm, covering everything from a small table to a large tabletop or a sideboard.

The textile is described as a cotton-polyester blend with a woven look. The available lengths are 120, 160, 183, 228, 275, and 305 cm. Rather than choosing solely based on the number of guests, measure the table and decide if you want the runner to stay on the tabletop or drape over both ends.

35 cm width: a center that is visible yet functional

A width of 35 cm provides more presence than a very thin runner. On a medium or large table, it creates a central axis capable of holding candles, vases, or small dishes. Before purchasing, place two plates face-to-face and measure the free space between them to verify that this width matches your table setting style.

On a console or sideboard, the 35 cm also offers an interesting base for several objects without masking the entire surface of the furniture.

Six lengths to adjust the overhang

The 120 and 160 cm formats are suitable for small surfaces or settings without an overhang. The 183 and 228 cm lengths cover many family tables. The 275 and 305 cm lengths are better suited for large tables, sideboards, or presentations with a generous overhang.

To estimate the overhang, subtract the length of the table from that of the runner then divide by two. On a 180 cm tabletop, a 228 cm runner will provide approximately 24 cm at each end. This simple method avoids choosing a length just because it seems bigger.

120 / 160 cm
For small and medium surfaces.

183 / 228 cm
For many family tables.

275 / 305 cm
For large tables and sideboards.

Red, black, yellow, brown, green, or gray: what atmosphere?

Red immediately draws the eye and can become the main color of a festive table. Black is more graphic and works well with white or light wood. Yellow brings light, while brown integrates naturally with beige, ecru, and wood. Green is suitable for botanical palettes and gray creates a more neutral base.

Over a long length, the color occupies a significant surface area. Limit accents to one or two accessories to avoid an overly coordinated effect. Simple dinnerware, clear glass, or a few wooden elements are often enough to balance the composition.

How to use a woven textile without overloading the decor?

The relief of the fabric may already provide enough texture. Simple dinnerware, a few clear glasses, and a low center decoration help keep the table balanced. For a reception, repeat small elements along the length rather than installing a single voluminous centerpiece.

The runner can be placed directly on the wood or on a plain tablecloth. On a bare tabletop, it allows the material to show around it.
