This progression allows for more precise adjustment of width and length than a range limited to three sizes.

For a daily drop, aim for 20 to 30 cm whenever the available dimensions allow it. For example, a 120 × 180 cm tablecloth on an 80 × 140 cm table provides a drop of about 20 cm all around. However, check the actual curvature of the tabletop, as the oval ends slightly alter the perception of the drop.

Why choose a textile finish for an oval table?

A flexible material naturally follows the curves and creates a more fluid drop than a rigid protective cover. It is particularly well-suited for a dining room, family lunches, or dinner parties when the feel and appearance of the fabric contribute to the decoration.

Compact table

The 80 × 120 to 100 × 140 cm sizes are perfect for dressing small tabletops without accumulating too much fabric at the ends.

Family table

The 100 × 160 to 110 × 180 cm dimensions offer more length for regular meals and intermediate-sized tables.

Reception

The 120 × 180 and 120 × 190 cm sizes create a more generous presence when the tabletop and surrounding space allow.

How to decorate an oval textile tablecloth?

The shape of the tabletop invites you to style your decor lengthwise.
