Hair Towel with Button: A Two-Tone Double-Layer Model
The hair towel with button combines an elongated pocket, an elastic loop, and a visible wooden button. Its character comes mainly from the contrast between the exterior and interior: sage green with pink, blue with grey, or pink with ecru. This two-tone construction allows you to immediately identify the correct way to wear it before tucking your hair in.
The textile is described as coral velvet made of 100% polyester, with a double-layer design. Each variation includes a two-tone turban with a button and a loop. Pink and green, blue and pink, or blue and grey can create a colourful marker in the bathroom.
- Two-sided design: interior and exterior feature distinct shades.
- Identifiable closure: wooden button and clear loop.
- Stated composition: coral velvet made of polyester.
- Unambiguous content: one turban in the selected color.
Identify the direction before tilting your head
Place the button at the nape of your neck and let the narrow part hang down in front of you. Once your hair is in the pocket, the loop will naturally fall back, without you having to blindly search for it.
Use contrast as a guide
The light or complementary interior side helps to see where to place the ends. Start by distributing your hair in the centre; fold any stray strands instead of trapping them in the seam. Wrap the end in the same direction along its entire length, then bring it back to the button. The loop just needs to reach it: excessive twisting can make it less comfortable to wear.
The three palettes create very different atmospheres. Sage green and pink suits a room with plant-based tones; blue and grey matches a more mineral decor; pink and ecru maintains a bright finish. Perceived shades may vary slightly with lighting and screen settings.
Button facing outwards
Fold the towel into thirds, leaving the fastener visible: you'll quickly find the correct orientation in a drawer.
The two colours side by side
On a rail, fold back only the tip to show the lining and echo a shade already present in the bathroom.
Compare the three two-tone finishes
| Colour chosen | Visible combination | Common detail | Quantity |
|---|---|---|---|
| Green | Sage green exterior, pink interior | Light border, wooden button | 1 piece |
| Blue | Blue exterior, grey interior | Light border, wooden button | 1 piece |
| Pink | Pink exterior, ecru interior | Light border, wooden button | 1 piece |
| Construction | Double layer | Open completely after use | |
Drying both layers
Fully open the turban and place it on a rail, rather than hanging it while still twisted. Turn it over if necessary to successively expose the lining and the outer side to the air.
Caring for the button and seams
The sewn-in label guides the wash cycle, temperature, and drying. Before washing, inspect the button and place the item away from metal fasteners. After washing, open both layers on a clear rail and wait for them to fully dry.
To detach the loop, push it over the button instead of pulling on the cord. This action protects the sewn area over repeated uses. Wait until the double layer is dry to the touch on both sides before putting the towel in a basket, suitcase, or closed cabinet.
Open both layers after use
Unroll the turban completely and place it on a clear rail. Check the area around the button before folding it back to ensure the entire item is thoroughly dry.
Store it with the button visible to immediately find the correct way to wear it.
