60x60 cushion cover: birds, flowers, and foliage to create a large botanical accent
The 60x60 cushion cover puts nature at the forefront with five designs inspired by birds, flowers, bamboo, and foliage. The compositions play with cream, pale blue, or black backgrounds and a palette rich in green, pink, and deep tones, allowing you to choose between a soft ambiance and a more dramatic contrast.
The series is available in 40 × 40, 45 × 45, 50 × 50, and 60 × 60 cm. The largest size gives the illustration its full scope and creates a generous foundation on a deep sofa or bed. The smaller versions allow you to bring the same theme into an armchair or to the foreground of a composition. The cover is sold without an insert.

Botanical & birds
The 60 × 60 cm is a foundational size
Its width creates a strong visual presence and provides a base for smaller cushions placed in front. It is particularly suitable for deep sofas and bed arrangements.
How to use a 60x60 cushion cover on a sofa?
On a large sofa, place a 60 cm square near each armrest to form the base of the composition. Then, add a 45 × 45 cm or a 30 × 50 cm rectangle in front. This layering creates multiple levels and avoids the look of a perfectly aligned row.
On a shallow sofa, the 60 cm size may take up too much room. In that case, prefer the 50 or 45 cm size. The right choice depends less on the number of seats than on the actual depth of the seating area and the space you wish to keep for sitting comfortably.
Five textile landscapes for different moods
The light-background variants fit easily into a bright, natural living room. The motifs on dark backgrounds create more contrast and work well with a cream, beige, or light grey sofa. The birds and flowers provide a more classic note, while the bamboo or foliage can create a more botanical and contemporary ambiance.
Botanical living room
Pair the motif with solid green, beige, or ecru covers and a real plant to create natural continuity.
Light-colored sofa
A black or very deep background becomes the focal point. Echo one single color from the design in a throw blanket or a vase.
Revisited classic bed
Place two large squares at the back and one smaller rectangle in front to break the symmetry without overcrowding.
40, 45, 50, or 60 cm: which size to choose?
The 40 × 40 cm is suitable for small armchairs or light arrangements. The 45 × 45 cm remains versatile. The 50 × 50 cm already provides good volume on a standard sofa. The 60 × 60 cm becomes a true foundation, particularly interesting if you want to clearly see the branches, flowers, and birds of the motif.
Always measure the inner cushion flat, seam to seam. If you are also buying the insert, choose a size that is consistent with the cover. An insert that is too small leaves the corners empty; a model that is too bulky can stretch the fabric and distort the illustration.
A rich motif requires calmer companions
Avoid surrounding the cover with several highly detailed prints. One or two solid surfaces allow the design to breathe and often result in a more elegant outcome.
How to pair the colors of the motif?
There is no need to incorporate all the shades present in the cover. Choose one main color and one secondary hue. For example, a green can be echoed by a plant or a throw, while a pink can appear discreetly in a vase or a poster. The other colors then remain unique accents.
In an already colorful room, choose a variant whose background remains close to the sofa or curtains. In a very neutral decor, you can, on the contrary, use a more contrasting version to create the main focal point.
How to properly insert the filling?
Fold the inner cushion slightly to insert it, then push the stuffing gradually into all four corners. On a large size, distribute the volume from the center outward to the sides. This avoids an overly prominent central bump and helps the motif remain well-centered.
A large cushion can be slightly softer if you use it for back support, while a primarily decorative use can handle a slightly firmer fill. In any case, never force the zipper.
Care for the 60x60 cushion cover
Remove the insert before any cleaning and check the label to see what washing, drying, and ironing are permitted. The printed side must be treated gently: avoid harsh products, intense rubbing, and any non-recommended temperatures.
After cleaning, let the cover dry completely before putting the inner cushion back in. If storing, fold it with wide folds and avoid placing a heavy object on top so as not to create lasting creases.
Creating multiple levels around the large square
Pair the series with a 45x45 cushion cover or a 30x50 cushion cover to vary the volumes. Also discover all the motifs and materials in the Cushion cover collection.

A large size to let the motif breathe
The 60x60 cushion cover fully showcases the birds, flowers, and foliage thanks to a generous surface area. When chosen appropriately based on the depth of the furniture and combined with calmer cushions, it allows you to create a strong botanical composition without multiplying accessories.
