Autumn table runner: a botanical base for setting a seasonal table
The autumn table runner allows you to change the atmosphere of a meal without replacing all your tableware or covering the entire surface. Its width of 35 cm creates a clearly visible central band, suitable for rectangular tables, sideboards, and large dining tables. The various designs on offer feature botanical and seasonal themes, allowing you to evolve your decor throughout the autumn months while maintaining a simple base around it.
The fabric is stated as 100% polyester. Several lengths are available, including 200, 220, 240, 275, 300, 350, and 400 cm. This range allows you to adapt it to everything from a family table to a large banquet table.
Why is 35 cm an ideal width?
A 35 cm runner occupies more of the center than a very narrow model. On a medium or large table, this proportion creates a true decorative axis while leaving space for plates. Before choosing, place two plates face-to-face and measure the remaining space: the runner should fit without getting in the way of service.

Seasonal designs intended for warm, easy-to-coordinate decor.
How to choose the length?
Measure the tabletop and then add your desired drape for both ends. A 180 cm table with a 20 cm drape on each side requires approximately 220 cm. For a 220 cm table, a 240 cm format will provide a small drape, while 275 or 300 cm will create a more generous effect. The 350 and 400 cm lengths are suitable for large tables, sideboards, or banquet tables.
If you prefer a contemporary look, the runner can also stay entirely on the table. In this case, choose a length that is shorter than or equal to the length of the tabletop.
Building an autumn palette without overcrowding
Seasonal colors work best when used in touches: brown, ochre, copper, burgundy, deep green, beige, or cream. The runner can serve as a starting point, then the tableware and accessories pick up only one or two shades from the design. An ecru or white tablecloth provides a light base; a wooden table reinforces the natural look.
A few low candles, a vase with branches, pinecones, or small decorative gourds are enough. Leave part of the fabric visible so that the pattern remains clear.
Daily meal or large seasonal table
For everyday use, pair the runner with a compact centerpiece to keep space for dishes. For a dinner or reception, you can spread several small elements along the length: candles, mini-vases, or low foliage. This repetition naturally complements the long shape of the runner and avoids a bulky centerpiece that would obstruct the view between guests.
On a sideboard, the runner can also visually connect several dishes or display stands. Keep some areas free so that the pattern remains visible.
With a tablecloth or directly on the tabletop?
Both are possible. On a wooden table, the autumn table runner lets the material show through and creates a more natural atmosphere. On a solid-colored tablecloth, the pattern becomes sharper and the decor looks more formal. If the tablecloth is already printed, opt for a subtle contrast to avoid clashing patterns.
The Table Runner collection allows you to compare other seasonal palettes, while the Christmas Table collection can take over when you want to transition from an autumnal atmosphere to a more festive table.

Care instructions
Follow the product label to care for the autumn table runner. The patterns and any decorative finishes may require specific precautions. Avoid applying high washing temperatures, stain removers, or intense ironing without checking the provided instructions.
After use, remove any residue promptly, let the fabric dry completely, and store it folded without heavy pressure, or rolled if you wish to minimize creases on a long piece.
