Keep the lines vertical on the squares and place the rectangle in front. The repetition of the relief connects the formats, while their different silhouettes prevent an overly rigid composition.

Combine shades without losing softness
Two neighbouring colours, like terracotta and orange, create a dynamic monochrome. For a calmer palette, mix cream, pale pink, and soft green. Blue or burgundy can stand alone in the center of a neutral set. A colour repeated on a throw is enough to anchor the choice in the room.
